Wave Chaser kite boards are designed and molded by renowned master craftsman Sam Tehan at Force 9 Surfboards in collaboration with Australian Kite Surf Masters champion Brad Hampson.
The 170XS is designed for strapless freestyle kitesurfing and is suitable for a variety of surf conditions up to 6 feet.
The narrow profile and consistent contour provide a balanced power glide feel, both upwind and upwind. Drop rails with a balanced rocker and inverted V allow for smooth rail-to-rail transfers and progressive carving from heel to toe, providing an all-round more enjoyable surf experience. The rear section is all about speed and handling with a flatter V, hard rails, dual wheel / dual diamond tail for maximum transition control and tighter turns.
